"I am a highly experienced teacher, tutor and facilitator, with many years experience helping individuals to increase their confidence, understanding of others, and to reach their personal and professional goals. Feedback from my students report that many are leading happier more balanced and fulfilling lives.
I work both Independently and in Further Education, and am employed as Tutor and Course Co-ordinator for the Counselling and Personal Development Team at Central College.
My passion has always been to help others reach their full potential, and to support them along their chosen path. This has led me along my own Personal Pathway of Personal Development which is continuously being enhanced by ongoing Professional Development, and an ongoing commitment to Mindfulness Training and practise.
My discovery of my passion for teaching Mindfulness has greatly improved the quality of my own life. My deep wish is to share these insights with more people, enabling them to share the benefits of Mindful living.
My Personal journey started in a loving family who found it hard to show emotion of any kind. Consequently I have a deep understanding of how being 'out of touch' with our natural ability to acknowledge, accept, and share our feelings, can contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, and a general 'dis-ease' with life. It can also disconnect us from the people we most want to connect with, leaving us with a sense of loss and sadness.
My training in Mindfulness, Counselling and Personal Development has helped me to develop and teach, many courses which have greatly improved the quality of the lives of my participants. I am able to gently guide and nurture individuals to unravel their own personal tangled thinking patterns. Individuals then often find a calmness, peace and clarity rarely, if ever experienced before.
